Pukekawa / Auckland Domain is Auckland’s oldest park and one of the largest.

We target being in or near the grandstand which was constructed in 1898, the pavilion is closely linked with the development of recreation in the Auckland Domain. Most of the jokes aren’t quite that old.

The closest parking is just to the South of the grandstand accessible from the entrance at the corner of Carlton Gore Rd and George St.

Rain action there is good shelter for all but the most severe rain.

Getting there with off street parking on the East side of the stand. There is more parking elsewhere in the park a short walk away. This is near the Inner Link, 30, 309, 64, 70, and 75 bus routes and a short walk from Grafton train station
